The great dip sits before the gulf dips down. It was formed by crevacing rocks dipping and water elevating it. So the beginning of the gulf is lined with rocks and erouded away stones and dirt. The great dip is also on land on a small sandy beach. Never had cartographers graphed this deep near the gulf. So it is unclaimed as a piece of land that is part of the city. This is where you can come and sit on the small sandy beach and watch the sunset fall behind the horizen.
